Real Motion is now offering Pilates classes and private Pilates sessions via Skype. Pilates sessions will physically build strength particularly in your core, hips and glutes, improve flexibility, mobility and posture, and feel more balanced. Mentally Pilates helps with stress management and aides relaxation.
Pilates classes are available three times a week. Have fun and challenge yourself with a Mat Pilates class from the comfort of your own home. All you need is a mat! Classes are limited to 8 participants so tailored teaching and instruction can still be offered even through a computer screen!
Monday: 12:30pm Mixed Ability
Wednesday: 7:30am Mixed Ability
Thursday: 5:30pm Mixed Ability
Mixed ability classes are suitable for those with some Pilates experience, or for beginners with no serious injuries. Prior to starting class participants receive a copy of the basic Pilates exercises to refresh knowledge. Variations and progressions for each exercise are provided depending upon participant level, so everyone achieves in each class and finishes feeling satisfied and challenged.
£6 per class, or £10 for unlimited classes a week. All classes last for an hour.
One week each month is a themed week, using small pieces of Pilates Equipment such as resistance bands, small balls, swiss balls and foam rollers. All classes are taught by Rhea who is APPI (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute) qualified.
Private Pilates Sessions:
Private Pilates sessions are also available on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis. A truly bespoke and tailored session delivered to help you achieve your personal needs and goals.
