Pilates Classes and Private Sessions

Real Motion is now offering Pilates classes and private Pilates sessions. Pilates sessions will physically build strength particularly in your core, hips and glutes, improve flexibility, mobility and posture, and help you feel more balanced. Mentally Pilates helps with stress management and aides relaxation. Perfect for all ages, fitness levels, men, women and children!

Pilates Classes:

Pilates classes are available twice a week via Skype. Have fun and challenge yourself with a Mat Pilates class from the comfort of your own home. All you need is a mat! Classes are limited to 8 participants so tailored teaching and instruction can still be offered even through a computer screen!

Class Timetable:

Monday: 12:30pm Mixed Ability

Wednesday: 7:30am Mixed Ability

Mixed ability classes are suitable for those with some Pilates experience, or for beginners with no serious injuries. Prior to starting class participants receive a copy of the basic Pilates exercises and principles to refresh your knowledge. Variations and progressions for each exercise are provided depending upon participant level, so everyone feels a sense of achievement in each class and finishes feeling satisfied and challenged.

Class Prices:

£6 per class, or £10 for unlimited classes a week. All classes last for an hour.

One week each month is a themed week, using small pieces of Pilates Equipment such as resistance bands, small balls, swiss balls, foam rollers and small hand weights. All classes are taught by Rhea who is APPI (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute) qualified.

Private Pilates Sessions:

Private Pilates sessions are also available on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis. A truly bespoke and tailored session delivered to help you achieve your personal needs and goals. These sessions are based in your home or work place, all we need is space for a mat!
