The Society of Sports Therapists:
The Society of Sports Therapists was established in 1990. With the rise in the number of incidents following the growing popularity of sports and leisure, the Society’s Founder Members created a membership organisation that would standardise and monitor the provision and availability of support services. The Society also aims to provide adequate, effective and appropriate training courses, and to constantly raise standards in the profession. It is the lead organisation for Sports Therapists in the UK.
